Afterhours Plus Vet Emergency Taranaki

If you have an emergency - please call us first. Animals will be triaged and seen according to urgency.

We are available for emergencies during the night, weekends, and public holidays.

A+Vet is only available when your regular vet clinic is closed - nights, weekends & public holidays. We will liaise with your regular clinic & send all your patient records back to your clinic every time.

We have a vet and nurse on-site all night to look after unwell patients, so that you can rest easy knowing your animals are being monitored.

Our team are experienced, dedicated, empathetic & competent companion animal veterinarians & nurses. We are committed to looking after your pets when you need us. Our vets will come from all around Taranaki.

We have everything on-site to look after your pets afterhours - in house blood testing, radiography, ultrasonography, medical and surgical facilities.

Please park on site when you arrive.

If your animal is already unwell, and hospitalised at your regular clinic, we offer overnight monitored hospitalisation where veterinary staff will be there all night. Patients can be transferred to us for overnight care, and transferred back to your regular clinic in the morning.

If your animal needs help with end of life care afterhours, we can help you through the most difficult time. We also work with pet cremation services and can organise this if needed.
